Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 27, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how StudioUtils ("we", "us", "our") handles information when you use our website at studioutils.com.
1. Data We Do Not Collect
Almost every tool on StudioUtils runs entirely in your browser. Text you type, keys you press, files you drop in, images you process and sound from your microphone are never transmitted to our servers and are not stored or logged in any way. We have no access to the content you process.
The Microphone Test asks for microphone access only when you press Start test. The sound is analyzed inside the page, and a test recording is kept in the tab's memory until you record again, stop the test or leave the page. It is never uploaded. You can withdraw the permission at any time in your browser's site settings.
2. The One Exception: IP Address Lookup
The IP Address Lookup tool cannot work locally: telling you which address your request arrives from requires a server to observe that request. When you open that page, it makes a single call to a function on our own domain, which reads the IP address, country and time zone that our hosting provider (Cloudflare) attaches to the incoming request and returns them to your browser. The response is not written to any log or database of ours, and the function keeps no record between requests.
Looking up an address or domain you type into that page sends a DNS query from your browser
directly to Cloudflare's public resolver at 1.1.1.1. That request is covered by
Cloudflare's resolver privacy policy,
not ours, and only happens when you press the button.
3. Analytics and Advertising
We use Google Analytics to see how the site is used: which pages are visited, how visitors arrive, and what device and browser they use. It sets cookies in your browser for this purpose. You can opt out with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
We use Google AdSense to display advertisements on this site. Google AdSense may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ad Settings.
For more information on how Google uses data, see How Google uses data when you use our partners' sites or apps.
4. Cookies
StudioUtils does not set any cookies of its own. Google Analytics and Google AdSense may set cookies in your browser as described above. You can manage or disable cookies through your browser settings.
5. Local Storage
The Keyboard Tester keeps its progress (the keys already pressed, the layout and the mode) in
your browser's sessionStorage, so reloading the page does not reset the test. It
is cleared when you close the tab, stays entirely on your device and is never sent to us.
6. Third-Party Links
Our website may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.
7. Children's Privacy
StudioUtils is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
